Mercy & Justice
Faith In Action
At LCN, mercy and justice are not separate programmes or campaigns. They are the natural outworking of discipleship and obedience to our Creator. They are in essence the way in which G_D has dealt with us; as “it is written, that at the point when we were still in sin and disgrace, it was his Mercy that re-wrote our life and his justice or his great compassion poured out for our salvation”. [Romans 5:8]
We believe that faith shapes character, character shapes responsibility, and responsibility shapes how we act toward others. For this reason, our approach to mercy and justice is practical, relational, and grounded in Scripture.
Our work focuses on supporting people where life is most fragile — strengthening individuals, families, and communities through teaching, encouragement, and practical care. We seek not only to respond to need, but to walk alongside people toward dignity, growth, and hope.
This Includes:
Mentorship or Life Coaching, Capacity Building and Life-Skills Teaching that shapes mindset, character, and everyday decision-making.
Community care and wellbeing support for individuals and families through sign posting and removing barriers.
Encouragement and resourcing for pastors, ministers, and faith-based workers.
Support for vulnerable and marginalised people, with a focus on restoration rather than dependency.
Mercy for us, is -love expressed with responsibility &
Justice for us, is -faith expressed in obedience to scripture; lived out with integrity.
The impact of this is best reflected, through the experiences of those who we have walked alongside at LCN. We share these brief reflections with care and respect.
